A non-Profit Organization Led by Lady Gaga & her mother Cynthia, the Born This Way Foundation was founded in 2011 to foster a more accepting society, where differences are embraced and individuality is celebrated. The Foundation is dedicated to creating a safe community that helps connect young people with the skills and opportunities they need to build a kinder, braver world.
We believe that everyone has the right to feel safe, to be empowered and to make a difference in the world. Together, we will move towards acceptance, bravery and love.

Happy holidays, Born This Way Foundation supporters.

We’d like to introduce you to someone. Edwin is an incredible young man. He is an aspiring teacher, getting a bachelor’s degree in education from Miami Dade College. He’s also on the steering committee for Students Working for Equal Rights (SWER).

As a Born This Way Foundation Youth Advisory Board (YAB) member, Edwin joined us in Los Angeles this summer at our first Youth Advisory Board summit to talk about his work in his community, and to learn from and share ideas with other YABers on how they can build a kinder and braver world.

Edwin’s experience is exactly the type we want to replicate all over the world. But we can only do it with your support.

Help Born This Way Foundation build a kinder and braver world by donating today.

When he was at the YAB conference, Edwin used what he learned as a member of SWER to help teach other young people interested in changing their communities for the better.

When he got back, Edwin was so motivated by his experience in LA that he began working with others on anti-bullying campaigns in elementary and high schools in Miami. He’s training others to do the same.

He and his fellow YABers also put together the “Be Empowered” playlist on Songza, which is now donating 10 cents for every song listened to through December 31st!

Change isn’t instantaneous, but the more people like Edwin we have β€” young people who see problems with the world around them, and do something about them β€” the faster it will come. Your support today will help us bring Born This Way Foundation to your community, and together, we’ll build a world that guarantees a thousand better tomorrows.

For Edwin, and for all other young people capable of making a difference, donate to Born This Way Foundation today:

Thank you,

Rudolph was BORN THIS WAY!! At BTWF, we work to create a kinder, braver world, so please do your part: LIKE and SHARE to spread the holiday cheer, and to remind yourself and others that you are perfect as you are. Happy Holidays!

We couldn’t be more excited to share this news with you: over the course of the last year, the BTWF team and our group of incredible partners have been preparing to debut the Born Brave Bus, which will join Lady Gaga on the road for the U.S. leg of her Born This Way Ball tour.

It will be a pre-concert β€œtailgate” that will provide a space for youth to gather and celebrate their individuality in a safe arena where everyone is encouraged to be the person they were born to be. The Born Brave Bus Tour will allow youth to get more deeply involved in the BTWF movement, while also connecting them with local resources in their communities in an effort to inspire bravery and promote self-acceptance. Guests will join like-minded peers as they enjoy food, music, fantastic local and national resources, and fun, interactive activities.
