Less than a year before the former star of The Bachelor and Bachelor Pad passed away on August 14 after trying to hang herself, she tweeted about a young bullying victim who also took her own life in the same tragic way. After Gia Allemandβs untimely death, her friends and family were quick to speak of her great kindness and compassion. Giaβs caring nature is also revealed through her Twitter, where she tweeted about her sorrow over the suicide of teenage bullying victim, Amanda Todd. Read on for more details. Gia Allemand Bullied Before Suicide? β βBachelorβ Star Tweeted About Bullying Before Death, Gia, 29, was distraught after the death of Amanda, a 15-year-old Canadian schoolgirl who committed suicide by hanging herself after she was blackmailed, bullied and physically assaulted. On October 13, 2012, Gia tweeted, βBULLYS YOU SUCK RT @LuisAmazin: R.I.P Amanda she committed suicide because of bullying π₯ This is her storyβ¦β A couple days before, Gia retweeted a post from @SnarkySteff that said, βWords hurt. Pain lasts. And suicide is forever. Donβt bully. Please RT. #RIPAmandaTodd.β In 2011, Gia confessed on Twitter that she was also a victim of bullying, so she could probably relate to Amandaβs struggles.β As a victim of being bullied most of my life, Iβm gonna say that people who can say mean things to other people and put them down are just insecure and depressed with their own life!β she tweeted. Gia was obviously devastated by the story of Amandaβs suicide, so itβs surprising that, less than a year later, she would take her life in the same way. Gia Allemandβs Last Words On Twitter Revealed Gia, who rose to fame on season 14 of The Bachelor, posted a Bible verse from Proverbs 21:3 to her Twitter just one day before she tried to hang herself at her home in New Orleans. Gia tweeted, βDoing what is right and fair pleases The Lord more than an offering.β Itβs unclear what Gia meant by this tweet, but weβre sure it has something to do with her state of mind at the time. Itβs all so terribly tragic. Our thoughts go out to Giaβs friends and family during this difficult time.

Bullying has no boundaries – neither does the amount of pain we can disguise. When will this end? Words hurt; words kill.
